Virtual Credit Recovery: Grades 7-12

Virtual Credit Recovery is an opportunity for students to recover one high-school course credit and receive a grade.

Over three weeks, students will:

  • Take part in daily synchronous learning sessions with their teacher.
  • Complete daily online learning modules at their own pace (asynchronous).

Teachers will have office hours at set times and by appointment for students to ask questions. Schools will provide this information to the students.

  • Students are eligible to enroll in Virtual Credit Recovery for one course they received a grade of F in before.
  • Students may not take a course for new credit.

Algebra 1

  • Students who have passed Algebra 1 may take the Virtual Credit Recovery course to improve their understanding and skills before the next school year.
  • Only students in credit recovery courses receive grade.
  • No additional course credit will be awarded.

Expunging Grades

Parents or guardians should work with their student’s counselor.

  • The Algebra 1 course and grade that was taken during the 19-20 traditional school year can be expunged before the end of the 1st quarter.
