Marketing classes include career preparation in areas such as as advertising, entrepreneurship, fashion marketing, hotel marketing, marketing management, and sales promotion.

Marketing classes include career preparation in areas such as as advertising, entrepreneurship, fashion marketing, hotel marketing, marketing management, and sales promotion. Students may elect to earn additional credit and wages through participation in supervised on-the-job training related to their classroom instruction. Students may also receive college credit at the Northern Virginia Community College upon successful completion of a sequence of certain marketing courses.

DECA

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Work-Based Learning Experiences

Throughout the school year, students enrolled in Marketing courses may have the opportunity to participate in Work-Based Learning Experiences. Some of these experiences may include participating in the marketing cooperative internship program, assisting with a school-based student enterprise or getting involved with a DECA service learning project.
