Salary Scales for FY22

The Fairfax County School Board approved the fiscal year 2022 (FY22) budget on May 20, 2021 which includes a 2% Market Scale Adjustment (MSA) for all FCPS employees. For FY22, Teacher, School-Based Administrator, and Unified Scale employees remain on the same step number and receive a 2% salary increase.  

The FY22 Approved Budget also includes the final phase of a three-year implementation plan to bring the Classroom Instructional Support (CIS) scale to 50 percent of the teacher salaries on the bachelor pay lane.  All CIS Scale employees will receive at least a 2% increase in salary.
