Dear FCPS Family,

We are deeply troubled by the upsetting events at the U.S. Capitol today.

We know that many people are feeling confusion, fear and anger. FCPS stands ready to support students, staff, and families who may need to talk and process these events. Students and families can contact their school counselors, school social workers, and school psychologists.

Families and students experiencing stress are encouraged to utilize supportive resources here.

We will continue to monitor these unfolding events and provide necessary supports to our families and staff.
