Credit Recovery: Grades 7-12
Through Credit Recovery, students may recover one high school course credit.
Summer Learning: English for Multilingual Learners (previously ESOL) for K-12
ESOL classes are available to enrich students' literacy and numeracy skills.
Extended School Year (ESY) Services
This main page for Extended School Year (ESY) services. Special education and related services are provided beyond the normal school year for the purpose of providing a free appropriate public education (FAPE).
Online Campus: Grades 7-12
Online courses are open to eligible high and middle school students who meet prerequisites and technical requirements. Learn which courses you can take online.
Elementary Institute for the Arts (E-IFTA)
E-IFTA is a weekly arts camp for elementary aged students who love to sing, dance, act, perform, make, and create. Students take part in four classes every day related to dance, music, theatre, and visual art. They work with FCPS fine arts teachers who create classes that are fun and engaging.
Institute for the Arts (IFTA)
The Institute for the Arts (IFTA) is a two or three-week summer enrichment program for students in middle school and high school. Students select from nearly 60 classes!
Tech Adventure Camp
Create, explore, and learn with Tech Adventure Camp! This exploratory enrichment camp is offered to students currently in kindergarten - grade 5.
CTE Summer Academy
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Academy helps students build on their skills and explore career pathways. Students design their experience by choosing their classes. This camp is open to students currently in grades 6-11.
Trailblazers
Campers have fun while they practice and apply scientific skills. In addition they will have the opportunity to earn service hours.
Self-Directed Economics and Personal Finance
Summer is a great time to fulfill the Economics and Personal Finance course requirement. Current students must work independently to complete the requirements.
Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology Summer Learning Opportunities
Summer course opportunities for credit for current TJ students only.
Air Force Association (AFA) Cyber Camp
Chantilly Academy (4201 Stringfellow Rd, Chantilly) hosts a cybersecurity camp for rising 5th-8th graders. The camp welcomes students of all skill levels. This is an opportunity to learn the importance of cybersecurity and gain the skills to protect from cyber threats on various operating systems.
