FCPS offers an array of day and evening adult education options at various sites throughout the county. Adults seeking a high school credential can attend the Fairfax Adult High School or enroll in a non-traditional high school completion program. Additionally, adult education options are offered through the Adult and Community Education (ACE) program. The  ACE program includes individual courses and certificate programs. The classes available include – Adult ESOL, apprenticeship, business, information technology, health and medical, trade and industrial, culinary arts, world languages, and a selection of other enrichment opportunities.

ACE Training and Scholarship Foundation

Support the ACE Training and Scholarship Foundation! The ACE Training and Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization created in 2002 to provide tuition assistance to low income adult students taking classes and programs offered through the Adult Community Education (ACE) program in Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS). Classes include English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), occupational training, and certificate programs. Scholarship funds are applied to tuition, books, and/or course materials.

Fairfax County Adult High School

Earn your high school credential through the Fairfax County Adult High School. Residents of Fairfax County who are 18 years of age and older are eligible to enroll.

Adult English for Speakers of Other Languages - ESOL

The FCPS Adult ESOL program provides adult students with the practical English language they need in their everyday lives, as well as English skills that will help them advance in their education or careers.

FCPS ACE Apprenticeship Programs

FCPS ACE offers Apprenticeship programs in electrical, HVAC-R, and plumbing. Our Trade & Industry programs feature a broad range of introductory classes for the homeowner, DIY-er, or anyone considering a career in the trades.

Business & Information Technology

The Business and Information Technology program in the Adult and Community Education (ACE) Program offers a variety of business and computer classes appropriate for individuals seeking skill development for personal or professional use as well as those seeking career training and certifications.

Adult and Community Education Health and Medical

Health and Medical classes provide students with a course of study that leads to work in the medical field.

World Language Classes

The Language Acquisition programs in ACE are robust and diverse appealing to a variety of community members.
