The Wakefield Forest Elementary project was identified according to the Renovation Queue, approved in 2009. Wakefield Forest project is ranked 40 of 63 schools in the queue. Planning and design was funded by the 2019 bond, with construction funded by the 2021 bond. The completed renovation will include additions, totaling approximately 103,000 SF.  The additions will include a library, classrooms, music room, administrative offices, cafeteria expansion, and site improvements.
