If included in the approved fiscal budget, an MSA increase would be effective July 1, 2024.

**Please note that the assignments are not eligible for a Market Scale Adjustment (MSA on July 1, 2024). FCPS regulation prohibits individuals from being compensated for working an extra duty assignment when that assignment overlaps with their regular duty contract hours.  However, individuals that receive a stipend will receive the full amount of the stipend, unless they are a 12-month employee for the current school year and/or next school year, in which case the individual will receive half of the stipend and the other half will be received by the individual’s school year base site.
