Did you know that all elementary students in FCPS attend weekly art and music class? Also, 62 percent of all eligible FCPS students in grades 4-12 take a fine and performing arts elective.

The FCPS School Board sponsors three fine and performing arts field trips annually. Fourth graders attend the National Symphony Orchestra’s Young People’s Concert at the Kennedy Center; sixth graders visit one of three museums: National Gallery of Art, National Portrait Gallery, or American Art Museum; seventh grade theater students attend a live theatrical performance at the Kennedy Center.
