La vie est belle
In honor of Madame Nelson, the Young Hearts have put a box in Mr. Spatz’s room K105 for letters to Madame Nelson’s family. If you would like to write a letter or a memory, please bring it in to Mr. Spatz by next Friday, Feb 17.

Winter Formal
Woodson will be holding a winter dance on Sat. 2/11, from 8:00 –
11:30 PM in the Main Gym. The dance is open to all students and the
proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. Tickets cost $10 and will be
sold between the cafeterias beginning 2/1-2/10.
Woodson 5K
Join us for the 3rd annual Woodson 5K, a timed ChronoTracked run/walk, on 4/14/12. The Woodson 5K is a competitive run & friendly walk, suitable for all ages. Profits will be donated to Autism Speaks. Register online or mail the form to the school. Cost to participate is $15 until 3/30 and $20 thereafter. Participants will receive a Woodson 5K t-shirt.
Advanced Placement Exams
Advanced Placement (AP) Exams will take place 5/7-5/18. Registration for NON FCPS students and FCPS students not enrolled in an AP class will be 2/21-2/24, 2012. The fee is $87per test for FCPS students and $100 per test for NON FCPS students. If you are enrolled in an AP course you do not need to pay a fee. Call Mrs. Nielsen at 703-503-4623 for more info.
