  Auxiliary Aids and Services for Postsecondary Students with Disabilities: Higher Education's Obligations Under Section 504 and Title II of the ADA Publication by the Office for Civil Rights of the US Department of Education

  FCPS Special Education Handbook Available in Farsi, Korean, Spanish, and Vietnamese  
  Heath Resource Center Online clearninghouse on postsecondary education for individuals with disabilities. Great collection of "modules" providing information essential to a smooth transition. Check each carefully!

  NICHCY State Resources Over 40 resources for the state of Virginia.  
  Northern Virginia Family Service Northern Virginia Family Service offers therapeutic respite care that pairs children having special needs with a specially trained family for regular visits.  
  Parent Educational Advocacy Training Center (PEATC) Help you be an expert at managing educational, medical and social services for your child.  
  Parent Resource Center Parents Supporting Parents – is a support service for families of students of disabilities, sponsored by Fairfax County Public Schools. Ombudsmen are parents of students who receive special education services, who can provide information about the county’s special education process and services, as well as information about regulations, procedures and policies.   Virginia's College Planning Information for Students with Disabilities Contains a tremendous amount of information on transitioning to college, requirements, and school-specific information. Great links!!  
  Work World Provided by the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities. - "WorkWORLD© (WW) is free decision support software for personal computers that is designed to be used by people with disabilities, advocates, benefit counselors, and others."
