School Dependent Scholarships

Newsletter Archives
Disclaimer

To receive a school dependent schoolarship,
applicants must be accepted by and attend the school to receive the named scholarship.

CHECK WITH COLLEGES FOR PRIORITY APPLICATION DATES
THAT DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY FOR THEIR SCHOLARSHIPS

Check the Financial Aid pages for ALL schools that interest you . Also check with college alumnae associations for scholarships and scholarship application deadlines.
If the scholarship from any college, listed or not, requires a nomination, speak with your counselor. He/she will not nominate you without your expressed interest, and he/she cannot know about all such opportunities.
Deadlines change. Therefore they do not show in this listing. Check carefully with your college choices and check early. Some great scholarshipapplications are due in October as are some priority deadlines!!
Parents and students are encouraged to plan ahead. Many scholarship applications cannot be completed quickly. Many applications require attachments from several sources and tend to be due earlier than you might expect.
"Guaranteed Scholarships" This is not a complete list, but it does offer information on several scholarships offered by the listed colleges. There is also advertising on this site: you do not need to respond to the advertising.
www.meritaid.com Online of merit scholarships. Search by college. The matching portion of the site requires personal information. Scholarships are not often the primary reason for choosing a school.. They ARE great ways to make a college affordable.
SAMPLE scholarships follow. Always check with the institution to see if the schoalrship still exists or if the parameters have changed. We do not work to keep these current.
