Since the school opened its doors in September of 1962, The W.T. Woodson High School has been known for being one of the top high schools, not only in Virginia but, in the whole country. This stellar reputation is thanks in part to all the different members of the Woodson community over the past 50 years.
We invite all of our Woodson family past, present and future to come celebrate our golden anniversary with us. Please join us for one of our events during the 2012-2013 school year.

Invitation
All Woodson family, past, present and future, are invited to join us for more 50th Anniversary festivities on Saturday, April 13th, 2013. The program will run from 1pm to 3pm and include a plaque dedication as well as a presentation about Woodson’s history, speeches from special guests and songs by Chorus Alumni (expect to hear over 90 voices!). There will be school tours offered, refreshments to nibble on and various souvenir items for sale. Please join us for this historical event. |
