New Attendance Policy
We have noticed an increase in the number of students arriving late to school.
Please help us reduce student tardiness. If you are driving your child to Woodson, please make sure to drop them off by 8:00AM to ensure they have enough time to go to their locker and arrive to class on time. If they are tardy for any class, they will now need to go to the attendance office to receive a pass. It the tardy is excused, they will now need to bring a note with the reason for the tardy. Please do not call the Attendance Office with late arrival information. Thank you for helping us in our effort to maximize instructional time and reduce class interruptions.
Please remember that the following reasons for tardiness are unexcused: oversleeping, missing the bus, ride was late, car trouble, traffic, weather conditions, working on homework, studying for a test, and parental error. Thank you for your time and attention.
