2009-2010 AP Bootcamp

What is the AP Boot Camp Program? Students will attend a one-day session to work with West Springfield AP teachers on strengthening their academic foundations and refining their advanced learning skills in general. The idea is to prepare them for taking an AP course for the first time in their high school career. There will be a follow-up meeting at the end of first quarter as well as periodic mentorship meetings during Spartan Time throughout the school year.

Dates: Advanced learning skills session: Saturday, September 26, 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Follow-up session: Saturday, November 7, 2009, 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Spartan Time mentorship meetings: Nov.7, Dec.10, Feb 3, March 11, April 15, and June 3 (end-of-program celebration)

Costs: 15.00 per student; failure to attend the 9/26 session will forfeit the fee.
