Good schools are important to all members of the community. A good school develops responsible citizens, informed consumers, skilled and marketable workers, and inspired leaders.

Creating good schools requires a cooperative effort from the entire community. Fairfax County Public Schools supports and encourages the development of partnerships to strengthen and enchance the quality of education and promote business and community involvement in schools.

All West Springfield Pyramid Schools are committed to academic excellence, character education, and community involvement.

Partnership Initiatives

JOIN A PARTNERSHIP INITIATIVE

Mentor Works:	Mentoring; One-on-one mentoring; School-Based Team mentoring; Tele/E-mentoring; Congressional Award
Guest Lecture:	Convey your working-world experience (or hobby expertise) to students in the classroom
Make use of Student Volunteers:	Provide opportunities for students to earn volunteer service hours
Art Gallery:	Sponsor a secure space for students to display their professionally presented fine art (paintings, drawings, printmaking, sculpture, photography, or computer graphics, etc.)
Music Performance:	Provide an opportunity for students in the extensive music programs to gain live performance experience in the community
Customize Your Own Initiative:	Suggestions are welcomed
