All payments and contributions are to be made payable to the "Fairfax County Public Schools," a particular school, or a Fairfax County Public Schools' program or activity. Should you have any questions or concerns about the legitimacy of a person or entity purporting to represent the Fairfax County Public Schools or an individual school, please call the Office of Student Activities at 703-913-3860.

The 2009-10 AP Boot Camp Program is for students taking an AP course for the first time. It is an opportunity for your student to strengthen academic foundations and refine learning skills. If you would like your child to attend, please have him/her return the attached registration form and payment to the Main Office. The deadline for registration is September 18, 2009.

2009 WSHS summer reading lists and AP assignments have been posted. Students enrolled in these courses should refer to these documents to meet summer curriculum requirements. WSHS reading lists may be different from and therefore supersede the Fairfax County Public Schools summer reading lists. All AP courses are listed but not all require summer reading. AP courses that require completion of an assignment or reading are hyperlinked. Please check this list carefully. Some courses require that students have a copy of the book prior to the start of school. They may purchase their own text, use a library copy, or ask their teachers to issue them a copy.
