Mrs. Vink grew up in Durham, North Carolina. After finishing her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina, she began her guidance counselor career in Key Largo, Florida. She also worked in Atlanta, Georgia as a middle school guidance counselor, before relocating to Springfield, Virginia in 2003. She has been a guidance counselor for 11 years, working in the elementary, middle and high school levels. She is also a National Certified Counselor.
Mrs. Vink has two small children and enjoys spending time with her family.
