OTHER INFORMATION:
A Pittsburgh native, Mrs. Brothers attended Pittsburgh Public Schools before heading to Flagler College in St. Augustine Florida to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in both Deaf Education and Elementary Education. She moved to the Northern Virginia area in 1999 with her husband who is also an FCPS teacher. Mrs. Brothers has been a counselor at WSHS since 2004, and working as a teacher since 1999. Before becoming a school counselor, she was an American Sign Language teacher at Chantilly High School. She enjoys spending time with her son, husband, friends, and family.
