OTHER INFORMATION:
After 17 years as a medical social worker in Pittsburgh, PA, Mrs. Orens moved with her family to Springfield. She has worked in FCPS elementary and middle schools for the past 14 years and has loved every minute of her first year at West Springfield HS, where both of her adult children graduated. Mrs. Orens has served as the president of the Fairfax Association of School Social Workers and has attended summer leadership meetings with the School Social Work Association of America. Her major loves in life, other than her family, include making beaded jewelry, crocheting, reading, and the Jersey shore.
