Remembering Leslie Sherman, Class of 2005

Leslie Sherman, a member of the WSHS Class of 2005 was one of the victims of the Virginia Tech tragedy. Leslie was a wonderful young woman who had a short but very full life. We were all enriched by knowing her. Our thoughts are with the Sherman family in this time of sadness.

To honor Leslie's memory and celebrate her life, a Leslie Sherman Memorial Scholarship is being established. If you wish to contribute, you may do so by writing a check payable to West Springfield High School, noting on the memo line that the check is for the "Leslie Sherman Memorial Scholarhip Fund." All donations will be acknowledged by the school and the family will be informed of your donation. Your check may be sent to the West Springfield High School Finance Office at 6100 Rolling Road, Springfield, VA 22152.
