TAKE A LOOK INSIDE

This replica of a fin whale was made from 3mm sheets of drop cloth plastic by three of my oceanography students. It was built in one weekend and cost about $50 for the supplies. The whale is about 65 feet long and close to 10 feet wide. A regular floor fan is all that is needed to give the whale shape. When our presentations are finished we simply remove the fan and roll the plastic. It takes only 15 mintutes to set it up and take it down. As you can see young and old alike enjoy their visit in the belly of a whale.
