The Class of Chondricthyes
Sharks, Skates, and Rays

*Chondricthyes are known as the cartilaginous fishes.
*Three most common are sharks, skates, and rays.
* Skeletons are very light but strong and made completely out of cartilage.
* Belong to the phylum of Chordata because they are vertebrates.
*Classified in subphylum of Pisces because they have gills, a single-loop blood circulation, and must consume amino acids in thier diets.

All over the world, sharks have always been a popular type of seafood. People especially like to eat shark fins and shark cartilage. These shark foods are known to be very healthy and often recommended for patients of cancer and arthiritis. Sharks are also well known for their skin. Leather products are often made using shark skin. These are some restaurants or companies that sell shark products:
