WSHS Guitar 2

This course is for the student who has satisfactorily completed Guitar 1, or who has experience in first position note reading on guitar. This course covers note reading in the upper positions, advanced chord voicing, music theory, improvisation, and composition. All content will be studied through the following styles of guitar-oriented music: Jazz, Classical, Pop, Rock, Blues, Bluegrass and Country. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Guitar 1 or equivalent private study.
