WSHS Concert Band

Concert Band is an intermediate level performing group at West Springfield High School.Music is performed from the grade III and IV repertoire. Members perform at local, regional, national, and international events. Students enrolled in this class are also strongly encouraged to join the Marching Spartans. The band is under the direction of Associate Band Director. Concert Band has traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia; and Orlando, Florida to participate in Musicfest Orlando.

Concert Band I

Concert Band I is a training level group at West Springfield High School. Music is performed from the grade II, III, and IV repertoire. An emphasis is placed on building basic skills through scales and chorales, in addition to the concert repertoire. Members perform at local and regional events. Students enrolled in this class are also strongly encouraged to join the Marching Spartans. Concert Band I is under the direction of Director of Bands, Larry Einuis.

Concert Band II

Concert Band II is an intermediate level performing group at West Springfield High School. Music is performed from the grade III and IV repertoire. Members perform at local, regional, national, and international events. Students enrolled in this class are also strongly encouraged to join the Marching Spartans.
