Advanced Placement Studio Art is designed for students who have demonstrated outstanding capabilities in expressing themselves with art media, show a high degree of commitment to communicating through art, and maintain the attitudes and self-discipline of working artists. Students can choose between submitting a general portfolio of works rendered in many different media or a portfolio of drawings, which allows more specific study paralleling specialized drawing curricula in major universities and art schools.
			Each student will submit a portfolio. College credit and/or placement may be awarded if a qualifying score is made.
