Photo One is structured to give students an understanding of the fundamentals of black and white photography. Students study the characteristics and functions of the adjustable 35mm camera, shoot a minimum of ten rolls of film, develop and print negatives, design with light, and use darkroom techniques to produce desired effects. Students explore the history of photography with an emphasis on 20th Century photographers. Students must provide their own cameras. |
