JORDAN
Jordan Baker represents a typical flapper of the 1920s. She is part of the upper class and unmarried. Jordan is also described as a successful golf-player whose sportsmanship is not always genuine. She and Nick become involved in a romance with little exposure. Jordan assists in uniting Gatsby and Daisy in their affair. As the novel ends, Jordan informs Nick that she has become engaged ending what little romance they had.
