Many architects were known for their works produced in the 1920s. One of the most prominent Americans to be in this field was Frank Lloyd Wright. Before the 1920s, Wright first designed homes in the prairie style. The Willits house (1902) and the Robie house (1909-1910) are both included in Wright's residential designs. After completing work in Japan in the 1920s, Wright included many Eastern influences in his work. In his home designs, Wright frequently used concrete.
