Use of Colors in The Great Gatsby
The use of colors as symbols is evident in The Great Gatsby. It is clear that Fitzgerald was trying to convey certain feelings and moods by representing different elements of the novel with certain colors. The colors symbolize recurring themes in the novel, such as the American Dream and corruption.
The following colors are observed in the story and each symbolizes a different aspect of The Great Gatsby.
