Using This Site

The purpose of the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) web site is to provide information to its visitors. This area of the site explains navigation and site structure, the standards and technologies the site complies with, site policies and regulations, what you'll need to best access our pages, and how to maintain your privacy while using the site.

What do I need to view this site?

All FCPS web pages are formatted so that a variety of users with differing technologies can access them. Every page on the site may be viewed on either a Windows or Macintosh operating system using a variety of browsers.

Do I need anything more?

The Adobe Reader plug-in is required for certain forms and documents presented in PDF format. Video clips require the use of the Windows Media Player or QuickTime.

For best results, print using the "landscape" setting on your printer.

This web site will be down the second Tuesday of each month from 9 p.m. until midnight for routine maintenance.
