| The TMPC has a new Music 4 Media Signature Music Library that can be used by our patrons in their video projects. This is a 55 CD collection that can be used royalty free. To research the collection to see what it contains, visit the Music 4 Media web site. The Search Library page will allow you to sample music that is in the collection before coming to the TMPC.
The performance rights granted are for distributed tapes for non-public viewing, closed business meetings and any direct private and public presentations other than the following. When the music is presented in a public performance casual listening environment for the general public, that is part of a background music service; or when the music is performed over broadcast channels, the performance is granted to the station, background music system originator or other entity by ASCAP or BMI. Educational and civic licensees who have a local cablecast have direct performance rights.
The music is not licensed for major motion picture theatrical release, pay-per-view broadcast or for product to be resold in over 10,000 quantities. These are licensed under another agreement.
