Office of Internal Audit "promoting an efficient and effective school division" The Office of Internal Audit is the organization within the School Division that has been charged by management and the School Board with the responsibility for continually examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of our systems of internal control and the quality of program performance. The Office's activities serve as an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve operations. In accordance with the Internal Audit Charter, we conduct and coordinate a variety of audits and special projects at the direction of the Audit Committee. The annual audit plan governs the activities of the office. The plan is finalized after input is sought from the administration, the School Board Audit Committee, and departmental management. Our reports are available to the public. We welcome your suggestions and comments.
