VHSL Pre-Participation Exams (PPE)
Virginia High School League (VHSL) requires each student-athlete to have a valid sports physical examination each year of participation. The physical exam must be completed after May 1st of the current year and is valid through June 30 of the succeeding year. FCPS schools each host one evening of VHSL sports physical/screenings and request the support of local physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners in this process.
