ATHLETIC TRAINING PROGRAM

Paul Rupp, MS, ATC and Andy Cowdery, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainers Paul Rupp and Andy Cowdery
provide the athletic health care to Oakton's
entire athletic program.
Paul Rupp, MS, ATC came to
Fairfax County Public Schools in fall of 2000. Mr. Rupp
currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Oakton
and Lake Braddock Secondary Schools. Prior to working at
FCPS, Mr. Rupp was an ATC at St. Johns University
in New York for over four years. He earned his
Bachelors of Science from East Stroudsburg University and
Masters of Science from Syracuse University.
Andy Cowdery, ATC has been at Oakton High School as the ATC and Health and Physical Education teacher for the past 25 years.
Team Physicians
Dr. Ray Thal with Dr. Susan Burroughs and Dr. Mike Simpson serve as team
physicians for Oakton High School's Athletic Training

information.
