Amy Sheedfar, ATC, Renee Beerman, MS, ATC and Dallas Simons, PT, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainers , Amy Sheedfar Renee
Beerman and Dallas Simons provide the athletic
health care to Herndon's entire athletic program.
Amy Sheedfar, MPA, ATC received her bachelors degree from Elon Univeristy, and her Masters of Public Administration from the Jacksonville State University. Ms Sheefar is the Head Athletic Trainer at Herndon and was a graduate of Oakton HS in Fairfax County Public Schools.
Renee Beerman, MS, ATC received her bachelors degree from Ithaca College and
her Masters of Science from George Mason University. Ms
Beerman also teaches Biology at Herndon.
Dallas Simons, PT, SCS, ATC
received his bachelors degree from Penn State University
and physical therapy from University of Pennsylvania. Mr.
Simons is a Sports Certified Specialist with the American
Physical Therapy Association and practices physical therapy
in Herndon. He has published an article entitled: "Running
Injuries" in Sports Physical Therapy and
worked with athletes at the Winter Olympics in 2002, 1998,
1994, 1992 and the Luge World Championships in
1990.
Team Physicians
The orthopaedists from Commonwealth
Orthopaedics provide Team Physician coverage for Herndon
High Schools Athletic Training Program. Drs Madden, Walker,
Klein, Hartley and Aguiar work closely with the certified
athletic trainers and the student athletes of Herndon High

Ms Beerman, ATC prepares an athlete for competition in the athletic training room.
Ms Sheedfar, ATC performs a manual muscle test on an athletes injured leg.
