ATHLETIC TRAINING PROGRAM

Herndon Hornet's Athletic Training Room

Amy Sheedfar, ATC, Lisa Petruzzi, ATC

Certified Athletic Trainers , Amy Sheedfar and Lisa Petruzzi provide the athletic health care to Herndon's entire athletic program.

Amy Sheedfar, MPA, ATC received her bachelors degree from Elon Univeristy, and her Masters of Public Administration from the Jacksonville State University. Ms Sheefar is the Head Athletic Trainer at Herndon and was a graduate of Oakton HS in Fairfax County Public Schools.

Lisa Petruzzi, ATC was formally the head athletic trainer at Mt. Vernon HS in Alexandria.

Team Physicians

The orthopaedists from Commonwealth Orthopaedics provide Team Physician coverage for Herndon High Schools Athletic Training Program. Drs Madden, Walker, Klein, Hartley and Aguiar work closely with the certified athletic trainers and the student athletes of Herndon High School.
