GC Marshall's Athletic Training Room

John Reynolds, MS, ATC
Certified Athletic Trainers John Reynolds and Lindsey Bates
provide the athletic health care to GC Marshall's
entire athletic program.
John Reynolds,
MS, ATC has been the athletic trainer at Marshall
High School since 1997. Mr. Reynolds earned his bachelors
degree in Athletic Training from Ithaca College and a
Masters degree in athletic training from Indiana State
University. Mr. Reynolds' wife, Carrie is also an ATC, and
they have three sons Erik, Ian, and Aiden. Mr. Reynolds has been involved with the National Athletic Trainers Association as a member of the Appropriate Medical Care for Secondary School Aged Athletes Task Force and Writing Team. He has also served as president of the Virginia Athletic Trainers Association and currently serves as consultant for USA Football.

Mr. Reynolds checks an athletes condition following a mild head injury.
Educating Professionals
Mr. Reynolds and Ms Bates are Approved
Clinical Instructors through George Mason and George Washington University's
CAATE approved Athletic Training Education Department.
Each semester, a University Student
Athletic Trainer will intern at GC Marshall HS, working
under the direct supervision of Reynolds and Bates.

athletic training topics. He has also written several
articles in notable journals on athletic training and sports
medicine topics.
