Note: Child must turn 2 by no later than September 30th.

For ages 5 through 22 please contact your local school.

The Fairfax County Special Education Preschool Program serves children 2 (by September 30th) to 5 years of age who have significant developmental delays in one or more of the following areas: speech, language, fine and/or gross motor, social/emotional, vision and hearing. Children who may be in need of special education preschool services are referred to Child Find for developmental screening and possible referral for additional comprehensive evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
