One link on the web site takes you to a list
of their discontinued items. You can now
purchase many great items at 50% off their
regular cost! Also on their web site is a
selection of pre-made boards, schedules,
and calendars that can be downloaded for
free. Just click on the "Download" link.
There is also a "Sharing" link
that connects to a materials exchange where
classroom activities created with BoardMaker
symbols can be downloaded.
New,
this year, is an updated version of BoardMaker
for PCs. This newer version offers many great
features that make BoardMaker a lot easier
and quicker to use. If you have a PC in your
classroom that has BoardMaker on it, let
your ITS case manager know and they will
help get you an updated version. Unfortunately,
for Mac users, the new Mac version will not
be out for a few years.
PC BoardMaker training: There
will be a training session on the new BoardMaker
for PCs at the 2nd R.A.T.E. Conference on November
17.
