- Launch
Co:Writer
- Open
a writer file -- Sample Writer
- Launch
a word processor such as ClarisWorks or
Microsoft Word
- Bring
Co:Writer to the front by pressing the
wakeup key

Tip: Whenever you use Co:Writer,
it needs to be in front. When you switch
applications, wakeup Co:Writer to "attach" it
to the new application.

Basics Composing a Sentence
- Example
Sentence: "Now is the time for all
people to be competitive."
- Type "N" --
Co:Writer automatically capitalizes the
first word in a sentence.
- List
of words appears.
- Select
a word by typing its number or with the
mouse.
- If
your word is not in the list, type the
next letter until it does appear.
- After
selecting the last word, type a period.
- Co:Writer
transfers the sentence to ClarisWorks (word
processor).
- Document
has an outline of the Co:Writer window.
- Wakeup
Co:Writer to type another sentence -- press
.
- Save,
print, and edit in the word processor.
