Downloading Directions for Compressed Files
Windows
  • Right-click on the name of the file you want to download. A menu will appear. Choose Save Link as . . . or Save Target as... A save dialog box will appear.
  • For the first file downloaded, click-and-hold on Download folder, then scroll down and up to select Desktop. Click Save.
  • Launch StuffIt Expander. Go to File -> Expand. If you don't have that, go to the Aladdin site to get this free program.
  • In the next window, click on Desktop and then double click on the name of the file you downloaded and it will "unzip."
Macintosh
  • Click-and-hold on the name of the file you want to download. A menu will appear. Choose Save this Link as . . . (Netscape) or Download Link to Disk (Internet Explorer) . A save dialog box will appear.
  • In Netscape by the word Format, click and select Source. (This is VERY important.)
  • Click on Desktop and then Save.
  • Launch StuffIt Expander. Go to File -> Expand. If you don't have that, go to the Aladdin site to get this free program.
  • In the next window, click on Desktop and then double click on the name of the file you downloaded and it will "unstuff."
