About Our People -- Spotlight on Staff

Social worker Barbara Fisher and psychologists Michael Blanchard, Mitch Harrow and Doug Lipp made a presentation, “Interprofessional Teaming for Success,” to the James Madison University Leadership Academy on November 30 with over 50 participants in attendance. They described several collaborative strategies and initiatives currently used between FCPS and both public and private sector community based organizations. The LA was designed for individuals in leadership positions within health and human service organizations. Of key interest to the participants was the topic of interagency collaboration and how to maximize resources in support of children and families.
