Attendance
Services: The attendance services program responds to concerns regarding excessive student
absenteeism.
Compulsory attendance laws now in effect set the standard for school
attendance.
- Crisis
Intervention: The Office of Student Services offers crisis intervention support, services,
and consultation, to
any FCPS school community affected by loss caused by humans or natural
disasters; deaths; suicides; and other tragedies.

Homebound
Instructional Services: The homebound instructional program is a service, offered by the Office of Student
Services designed to provide continuity between classrooms and homes
or healthcare facilities for students, whose
medical needs, both physical and psychiatric, contraindicate school
attendance

Transfers: The student transfer process allows students to request placement at a school
outside of their
residential boundaries. The procedures are outlined in Regulation
2230.
