1. All student parking is reserved in the designated Student Parking Area. Each space is numbered to correspond to the number on the parking hanger.
  2. You must park in your assigned space with the authorized parking permit displayed on the rear view mirror.
  3. Under no circumstances are you allowed to park in another reserved space. If your space is taken, notify a member of the security staff.
  4. Only one space is provided for each permit. If you carpool, only one person may park on school grounds each day. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  5. Vehicles not displaying an authorized permit or vehicles parked in unauthorized areas or those which constitute a safety hazard may be ticketed, booted, or towed at the expense of the owner.
  6. Safe operation of vehicles will be observed at all times. The speed limit on school grounds is not to exceed 15 mph. Violators are subject to traffic charges being filed against them.
  7. All applicants must possess and show a valid driver’s license in order to receive a parking permit.
  8. Fairfax County Public Schools is not responsible for theft or damage to vehicles or theft of personal property left in the vehicles, including parking permits. All vehicles must be locked while parked.
  9. You will be charged a $10.00 replacement of lost or stolen permits.
  10. Students may not return to vehicles during school hours without authorization and a pass from a member of the security staff or the administrative staff. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.
  11. Students may not leave school grounds or transport other students off school grounds in their vehicles without authorization. Violation of this rule will result in suspension and revocation of your parking permit. NO WARNINGS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • 1st Violation -- Lose parking privileges for 5 school days
    • 2nd Violation -- Lose parking privileges for 30 school days
    • 3rd Violation -- Lose parking privileges for the rest of the school year.

    • If you should take someone with you, off school grounds:
      • 1st Violation -- Lose parking privileges for 30 days
      • 2nd Violation -- Lose parking privileges for the rest of the school year
  12. By parking on school property, the person in charge of any vehicle consents to search of vehicle by school officials or police officers.
  13. Parking permits are non-transferable and fees are non-refundable.
  14. A $150 parking fee will be collected on a yearly basis. Students entering during the second quarter will be charged $112; during the third quarter $75, and during the fourth quarter $38. (In accordance with FCPS Notice 5922).

Unsafe driving practices or any violation of these regulations may result in suspension or revocation of your parking permit. Refunds will not be given for suspended or revoked permits.
