School Board Committees

Board Standing Committees

The Board may create one or more committees of the Board to perform delegated functions or to advise the Board. Among other tasks which may be assigned, Board committees may assist the Board by preparing alternatives, implications, or recommendations for consideration by the full Board.

Citizen Advisory Committees to the School Board

Citizen advisory committees were created to review issues and to advise the School Board. Board members appoint individuals to each committee in accordance with that committee's purpose. Appointments made by School Board members reflect the religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity of the magisterial district they represent. Each committee meets during the year and submits an annual report to the Board.
