The Guidance Program at Colin Powell offers:

Counseling - Students can be counseled individually and in small group settings.

Classroom Guidance - Classroom guidance lessons focus on character education traits.

Consultation - The counselors consult with parents, teachers, other staff members, and outside resources to benefit the child.

Coordinating of Programs- The counselors coordinate a number of programs and activities such as: Parent Education Programs, Peer Mediators, Mentoring Program, and Character Education, Career Education.

Assistance for Needy Families- School supplies, health insurance, sports scholarships, free and reduced lunch, food and clothing needs, holiday food baskets, and December holiday gifts for children.
