Program Description |
This enhanced professional opportunity is available to a cohort of approximately 10-16 high-performing FCPS assistant principals who show an interest and have demonstrated the skills necessary to pursue advanced leadership opportunities within FCPS.
The program will focus on FCPS Leadership Standards: Vision and Goals, Teaching and Learning, Managing Organizational Systems and Safety, Collaborating with Key Stakeholders, Ethics and Integrity, and The Education System. |

Selection Process |
Assistant Principals who have completed the Assistant Principal Portfolio Program are recommended by their Cluster Assistant Superintendents for this program.

- Readiness to assume principalship

Curriculum/Components |
Current offerings include School Improvement Planning; effective meetings; school finance, staffing and special education; conflict management; Professional Learning Communities, administrative team selection; ethics, responsibility and accountability. Participants also attend the Aspiring Leaders Institutes.
