Audience
This program is intended for newly appointed Assistant Principals and Directors of Student Services.
Program Description

The purpose of the first year induction program is to give participants the ability to develop skills in all six FCPS Leadership Standards. Through this professional development series, new assistant principal and directors of student service will develop processes to lead their schools and raise student achievement.

Examples of topics include, managing the business of schools, developing self and others, how to initiate productive cultures.

Participants will receive recertification hours, which can be used toward their licensure renewal.

Application Process

There is no application process. All newly appointed or hired Assistant Principals or Directors of Student Services are strongly encouraged to participate in this induction program.
