Professional Standards
Great Beginnings programs are aligned with the Teacher Performance Assessment in Fairfax County Public Schools. The five FCPS Teacher Standards of Performance include:

- Learning Environment
- Human Relations
- Communication Skills
- Professionalism
The Great Beginnings programs work to support new teachers in supportive contexts where colleagues learn and grow with one another in learning communities.
