FY 2013 Budget
The Fairfax County School Board adopted the FY 2013 Advertised Budget at its February 9 regular business meeting. The Board also authorized a limited scope boundary study for Freedom Hill and Lemon Road Elementary Schools, authorized an 8-classroom building addition at Lemon Road Elementary, and directed the Superintendent to present a recommendation for an expanded scope of an additional boundary for consideration no later than spring 2014. FCPS budget documents have received awards from both the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). In fact, FCPS was the first organization in Virginia to receive both of these awards.
